City of the Beatles, culture, sport and UNESCO World Heritage site. With its unique attractions, exciting events, unrivalled musical heritage and famously warm welcomes, Liverpool is an ideal destination to visit and explore.
We travel via Aberystwyth and with suitable comfort stops en-route, we make our way to the charming 19th Century village of Port Sunlight, which is nestled between Liverpool and Chester, and built by William Hesketh Lever, to house his soap factory workers. Afterwards, continue our journey to Liverpool and our hotel for the next 3 nights.
After breakfast enjoy a 2 hour coach guided tour to Liverpool and marvel at the history, heritage and architecture of this vibrant city. After lunch is an experience you’ll love with Mersey Ferries – a 50 minute river explorer cruise of Liverpool’s most iconic sights and best views along the riverside, plus a stop at the U-Boat Story, a WWII German Submarine Exhibition.
Free day in Liverpool.
Departing after breakfast we start our return journey and travel via Llangollen, Bala, Dolgellau and Mchynlleth, arriving home in the early evening.
