Post: Local Bus Service (PCV Driver)

Location: Opportunities to work in either our Cardigan or Newport Depot

Job Summary: A full time position that will require a reliable individual to drive our local service routes, while having excellent customer service skills.

 

Your Duties will include

  • Ensuring vehicle checks have been carried out before any journeys.

  • Be willing to learn and drive a variety of our local services.

  • Responsible for time keeping.

  • Responsible for issuing the correct tickets to passengers.

  • Responsible for assisting passengers on and off the bus if required.

  • Greet passengers politely when they board our buses.

  • Complete all CPC training.

  • Follow all health and safety regulations.

  • Be responsible for paying all monies at the end of your shift, into the office.

  • Hand in any lost property found on the vehicle into the office.

  • Follow other duties that management have requested of you.

 

Skills you will need

  • Category D driving license.

  • Excellent Customer service skills.

  • Handling cash and contactless payments.

  • The ability to work well under pressure.

  • Good Problem Solving skills.

 

Pay and Benefits

  • Full Time Position.

  • £9.33 an hour.

  • Employers pension scheme also offered.

School Bus Driver

School Bus Driver

Post: School Bus Driver

Location: Opportunities to work in either our Cardigan or Newport Depot

Job Summary: Safe transportation of School children to and from school in the school terms.

 

Your Duties will include

Ensuring vehicle checks have been carried out before any journeys.

Be willing to learn and drive a variety of our local school runs.

Responsible for time keeping.

Responsible for assisting passengers on and off the bus if required.

Greet passengers politely when they board our buses.

Ensuring the safety of all passengers.

Complete all CPC training.

Follow all health and safety regulations.

Hand in any lost property found on the vehicle into the office.

Follow other duties that management have requested of you.

 

Skills you will need

  • Category D driving license

  • Ensuring you are approachable, polite and calm at all times

  • The ability to work well under pressure.

  • Good Problem Solving skills.

 

Pay and Benefits

  • School term times

  • £9.33 an hour

  • Employers pension scheme also offered.
