STAFFORDSHIRE DELIGHTS – STOKE-ON-TRENT
A flavour of the delights of Staffordshire – based in Stoke-on-Trent, we will have visits to Lichfield, National
Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas, Little Moreton Hall, Rudyard Lake, Trentham Gardens and Foxfield Light Railway.
Day 1
We depart West Wales in the morning, and travelling via Aberystwyth, we make our way to our hotel. Suitable comfort stops will be made en-route. Settle into your rooms and enjoy your evening meal.
DDay 2
Today, we visit the city of Lichfield. After lunch, we travel to National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas.
B, DDay 3
First stop of the day will be at the National Trust owned Little Moreton Hall, followed by a visit to Rudyard Lake where we enjoy a 3-mile return ride on the miniature railway alongside the lake.
B, DDay 4
We will visit the award-winning Trentham Gardens in the morning, and then head for Blyth Bridge and the Foxfield Light Railway.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast, we depart the hotel and with suitable comfort stops, we travel back to West Wales.
